Error Code: 86000108
Possible Cause:
"ActiveSync encountered a problem on the server." The device is missing the root digital certificate that is installed on the server.. This is known to have occured with a Verisign digital certificate.
- OR -
Microsoft ActiveSync cannot synchronize a mailbox if the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 store contains a corrupted e-mail item. You can see the corrupted item in Microsoft Office Outlook and in Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access.

By design, you receive a "0x86000108" error message when the Read status of a task or a message on a Windows Mobile 5.0 mobile device changes.
Possible Resolution:
1. Install the Verisign digital certificate on the Windows Mobile 5.0 device.
2. Perform a manual synchronization or complete the task or delete the message.
User Action:
1. Copy the certificate to the device. Then navigate to the file and click on it to install the certificate.
